'The EverLearner' approach to teaching History

Child-centred teaching

In today's humanities lesson I introduced an exciting teaching approach called 'The EverLearner'.
The class was divided into four sections...quiet study area, teacher lead area, play area and investigation corner.
This image shows students working together in the investigation area trying to solve a crime. Students in the class area choosing an area of the classroom that suits their learning most appropriately. Child centred learning allowing students to progress at a pace and in a way suited to their needs.
